Tell stories about the world that is still possible. Tell stories that Jesus told, about lost sheep found, about generous widows who gave their all, about people who encountered healing and didn’t have to pay, about a table wide enough for all. Tell our children these stories, so they will dare to hope.

Generosity is a Practice of Justice
I don’t think we talk enough about justice when it comes to our conversations about giving. We talk about giving thankfully back to God. We talk about abundance. Jesus is less concerned that we be thankful givers. Christian generosity is meant to be about transforming unjust structures.
Generosity Matters
Generosity matters. Of course what you do with your money matters, but more than the dollar amounts, more than the donor levels, our interior orientation matters.
